You were not created to play small.

Rebecca is joined by Cassidy Johnston, a Sustainability Officer with the US Farmers and Ranchers Alliance and the New Mexico area bull and semen rep for Leachman Cattle of Colorado. She’s also a ranching wife and mama to two little boys.

We sit down to talk about how many people in small towns have a smaller worldview, especially those who have never lived anywhere other than their small towns.

Learning how to engage in nuanced conversation and embrace the different perspectives of other people is something that many of us want to cultivate in our children. Small towns often lack the diversity in cultures, races, and religions required for this to naturally occur.

Cassidy and Rebecca offer ideas for those of us living in the smallest of towns to check ourselves against this trend and foster a spirit of open-mindedness in our communities.
